We are looking for an Assoc Web/CMS Developer (with a possibility of contract to hire) to start immediately with an award-winning medical devices Company in the beautiful South Orange County, CA. Essential Job Functions:

*                     Analyze, develop, debug and advise using strong code-level capabilities in the following domains: 
o   XML and DITA XML
o   XSL, XSLT-FO, XHTML, HTML, CSS
o   SDL Tridion Doc configurations
o   Image standards, png, svg, gif, eps, etc.
(30% of the time) 
o   Create and manage specifications for development, test and deployment of scripts (Python, VBA, etc.) executables, transforms, stylesheets and system configurations/customizations
(30% of the time) 
*                     Work with corporate IT and third-party suppliers for bug fixes and development and configuration efforts
(20% of the time) 
*                     Participate in disposition of issues and bugs collaboratively to determine best method of resolution, such as content change, configuration, transform development Skills
(20% of the time) 
*                     Experience with best practices of SDLC, using tools such as Jira, TFS, etc

Skill Set Requirement: 

*                     Familiarity with enterprise XML CMS and related tools such as : Ixiasoft, Vasont, SDL CMS Systems, (Knowledge Center (KC), Live Content Architect (LCA), Tridion Docs, Trisoft, World server, TMS), Xmetal, Oxygen, Acrolinx, HyperSTE, Loftware, enLabel, Prisym, XTM
*                     Experience with conversions of content to DITA XML
*                     Understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
*                     Experience in a production support role
*                     Understanding of DITA architecture and concepts associated with structured content
*                     Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
*                     Strong written and oral communication skills
*                     Must be action oriented, customer focused, have ability to manage multiple initiatives, and use analysis and problem-solving skills to set priorities
*                     Working knowledge of graphics, translations (including Translation Management Systems), and computer generated labeling and proofreading software/standards desired
*                     Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships, influence others and deal with ambiguity

Education & Experience:

*                     Bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, technical writing or equivalent experience
*                     Minimum: Associate's degree (Community College, MBO) required
