Job Description

This is a Contract position
This is an Onsite position with 40 hours a week

Quick Note:

This person will integrate with a couple of people outside the marketing department that truly understand the workings of the Project Development Management system including the Lotus Notes programmer and the IT Director.  The PDM system, while changeable, is a fundamental, specific, controlled way of developing a project within a highly engineered environment.  Further, since the individual is unlikely to be competent in coding Fortran and COBOL, the development of whatever links need to be made with the "ERP" will necessarily require additional support. The "ERP" is a conglmeration of Ask ManMan for Manufacturing, Oracle for the GL, Fixed Assets and Procure to Pay system and a homegrown Sales Order Entry, Invoicing and Receivables system.    It is highly tailored and complex and it would not be a good use of the person's time to try to become fluent in any of this.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for refining, planning, and implementing the integration of the stock (RFQ) & custom (PDM) products quoting procedures into SugarCRM. The purpose of this initiative is to increase quoting visibility across the organization, by migrating both core business development functions, or the process tracking thereof, from legacy systems into the new CRM. The ideal candidate will provide best practice input on systems choice for the functional elements of these two business processes. This role works cross-functionally with multiple departments, including Sales, Pricing, and Engineering among others. This highly visible position will have a direct impact across the global organization. You will perform all aspects of day-to-day project management including leading a diverse team toward measured success. Achieving these goals will include researching and advising team members how to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

* Help coordinate and participate in initial post-implementation business reviews, to confirm quoting systems/processes are functioning as desired
* Excellent analytical, process analysis, problem-solving and presentation skills
* Implement sign-off process
* Orchestrate training of implemented quoting procedures for all associated Accuride staff
* Asset in expanding implementation to other divisions
