Windows & Linux Systems Administrator (Active Secret Clearance)

Location: West LA

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 + 5% bonus

**Note: Client will provide relocation assistance for non-local candidates outside of 52 miles from their LA office.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for administering, managing, and maintaining Windows and Linux (RHEL) servers in a classified & enterprise environment
• Install hardware and software solutions for systems and network infrastructures
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network technologies
• Solve complex technical problems within the organizations infrastructure
• Administrate Active Directory (Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, Sites, and Services)
• Collaborate with other departments when evaluating, implementing, and adapting new infrastructure hardware/software, security solutions, and network technologies.
• Assist with the administration and maintenance virtual infrastructure (VMware), storage (SAN/NAS) solutions, and network (Cisco) technologies
• Follow ITIL best practices and provide appropriate documentation when needed
• Implement security practices (technical controls, regulations, and processes)
• Prepare infrastructure (systems, network) for audits

Requirements:

• Active Security Clearance (Required)
• High School Degree of GED (Required), BS/SA (Preferred)
• Microsoft/Windows & Linux/Red Hat certifications are (Preferred)
• 6+ years' experience administrating & maintaining Windows & Linux Red Hat servers
• Strong understand of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP
• Hands on experience supporting virtualized environments (VMware ESXi)
• Experience maintaining and administrating Network & Storage (SAN & NAS) infrastructures
• Proficient at administrating, managing, configuring Active Directory
• Familiarity with PowerShell & Bash scripting
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Comfortable working onsite on a classified team
